This F. Besson Brevete trumpet was made in France and is considered one of the last of the famed “pre-war” Bessons. Players like Lee Morgan, Rafael Mendez, Charlie Margulis, and Miles Davis favored this model. It remains a sought-after collector’s item and a testament to the craftsmanship of that era. This particular trumpet has some wear but is a solid horn and is in excellent playing condition! About 30% of the silver plate is worn off and there is some pitting on the exterior where the player held it. This trumpet still has a lot of life left in it and is waiting for you!
