Description
The Conn 52J is a well-regarded tuba among musicians. It’s a 4/4 size instrument with a .687″ bore and a 17.5″ upright bell. This tuba is features a brass silver plated body and four front-action piston valves and one rotary valve. Known for its warm tone and solid projection, it has a reputation for being a workhorse in various musical settings. According to several sights I used, this tuba was produced in 1960. This tuba is in very good playing condition and has only minor signs of wear and tear. The silver plate is tarnished, but this is a beautiful tuba that you won’t find in this condition very often.
