Description
This vintage “Perfacktone” Martin stencil horn was made sometime between 1910 and 1930. Very popular in the 1920s, the C melody allowed amateur saxophonists to play directly on the scores written in C (for piano, voice, violin, etc.). Some C melody saxes came with a straight neck, and some came with a curved neck. This particular C melody comes with a curved neck. The horn is also a low pitch horn per the “L.P.” marking on the backside of the body.
